Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your KIIP Korean Learning account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, what may be kept, and how long it takes.

How to delete your account

Option 1 — Delete directly inside the app (fastest):

  1. Open the KIIP Korean Learning app and sign in.
  2. Tap your name / profile chip in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap 🗑️ Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog — your account is removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email (if you cannot access the app):

  1. Send an email to info@bizyatra.com from the address registered to your account.
  2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
  3. We will verify the request and process it within 30 days.

Use Option 1 whenever possible — it is instant and requires no manual verification.

What is deleted

When we process your request, we permanently remove from our systems:

Data stored on your device

Your detailed learning progress (mastered words, streaks, quiz state) is stored on your own device, not on our servers. To remove it, uninstall the app or clear the app's stored site data on your device. A deletion request handles your server-side account data; your on-device data is under your control.

What may be retained

We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to (for example, records needed for security, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations). Such data is kept only for as long as the law requires and is then deleted.

How long it takes

In-app deletion (Option 1) removes your account data immediately. Email requests (Option 2) are completed within 30 days; when done we send a confirmation to your registered address. Any data retained for legal purposes is deleted as soon as the legal obligation expires.
